I've been involved in the Domestic Violence and Trauma since 2002.  I've worked for South Bay Community Services in San Diego stationed at Chula Vista and National City Police Departments.  I've worked with children with behavioral issues at  Episcopal Community Services and the San Diego Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA).  Currently, I am a member of The Counseling Team International,(TCTI)  providing support to Law Enforcement, First Responders and their families by assisting them with coping skills to deal with trauma, addiction, crisis intervention, marital issues, self esteem issues, parenting, grief and death. I also work for Octave Counseling services. 

 

I am passionate about helping people in need to live a fulfillment life through therapy working through their trauma and live a healthier life.  I am a firm believer that with my experience, extensive training and solution focused approach, I can make a real difference in my patients' lives by helping them move on with their lives after experiencing significantly traumatic events. 

 

Depression, anxiety, and PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) can be debilitating and keep us from experiencing healthy and fulfilling relationships.  Past trauma, abuse and self-injurious behavior can have a huge effect on how we function today.  Issues in our relationships can prevent us from moving forward – whether it’s our marriage, with our children or family members or our friends.  As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I am trained to help couples, families, and individuals work through problems, crises or issues that impact their psychological wellness and prevent them from living life to the fullest.
